The Department of Heath (DHEC) offers one of the more robust STI testing panels at an incredibly low cost. Call your local DHEC and ask about what is tested for and if they offer oral and anal swab testing.
Events we can vouch for
PUSH Durham- The Ultimate Fetish Party is the queerest, most gender-diverse kink event I have attended. They offer kinky workshops during the day and throw a big party in the evening. They won’t yuck your yum (that includes you, age players, as it fucking should) and they have a fantastic group of vendors. They have 2 events every year, one in the spring and one in the fall.
Sex Down South- A four-day conference that serves as a safe space in the Southeast for people to explore sex and sexuality. During the day SDS offers a wide range of workshops taught by some of the best sex educators in the country (my favorites from last year were Fisting 101 and How to Give an Epic BJ *to all dicks, organic and vegan dicks alike). Each evening offers a playful and enjoyable hedonistic event, including the Kink Olympics and The Big Bang! And the dungeon is open at all times outside of when it is in use for the Kink Olymics. SDS is intentionally inclusive and so diverse. They kill it when it comes to attendance and centering of pervs of color.
